We've been looking for the perfect brick and mortar space for a very long time.
Wouldn't you know it...out of nowhere, a (literal) brick and mortar location became available in our beautiful home town of Chester, Vermont.
It all happened in an unexpected flash. We signed a lease in no time. And now, 6 days after being handed the keys, we have hit the ground running with renovations.
I can't believe I am writing this, but we do actually have doors open this holiday weekend for a sneak peek style pop-up; a miracle that only happened because of an incredibly hardworking (and patient) husband and supportive-as-heck friends and family.
It is all so exciting.
Fischer Arts is a work in progress. We have two more rooms to paint, more flooring to put down, a bathroom to renovate - not to mention signage, window design, and incorporating new work...
I confess, it leaves me a little breathless.
But, as with everything, I'm taking things one step at a time.
I just added this little sign to our walls:
Every step of the way brings joy.
More to come soon.
With gratitude,
Iris
Fischer Arts is open during renovations: at 102 The Common, Chester, Vermont
