New Year's Eve Gratitude

The last day of the year is here. Almost impossible to believe.

It was only a few months ago, sitting at the kitchen table with my morning coffee, that I saw the listing for a space on the Chester Green. Soon after, the lease was signed. Then came the heavy lifting; painting, flooring, and so much more.

Fischer Arts then officially opened the end of November.

And it has been an absolute pleasure.

There is still more work ahead, with the exhibit space taking shape and more wonderful contemporary artists being added. There is something new happening every week, and that is the most exciting part.

The community has welcomed us warmly and enthusiastically. So much support and kindness has come our way from customers, family, and friends, and it is appreciated more than I can express.

A portion of our proceeds go to support organizations working to preserve fragile ecosystems and protect wildlife. Thanks to our customers, in 2021, we have been able to donate to the following:

  • Audubon Society (New Hampshire and Vermont)

  • International Fund for Animal Welfare

  • Nature Conservancy

  • National Marine Life Center

  • New England Wildlife Hospital

  • Rainforest Foundation US

  • Sierra Club

  • Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests

  • Vermont Land Trust

  • Vermont Institute of Natural Science

  • Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland

Thank you, everyone, for your support and encouragement. Wishing all of you a healthy and happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing you in 2022!

With Gratitude,

Iris and Gavin
